Campbelltown into Grand Final

Campbelltown's State League team will meet minor premiers Eastwood-Ryde in the Division 3 Grand Final on Saturday 11 September. This follows Campbelltown's win over Fairfield in the Final played on Tuesday night.
The match was a close encounter for much of the game, with only a few goals between the teams for the first two quarters. However, late in the third quarter Campbelltown pulled slightly ahead of Fairfield. Campbelltown were stronger in the final quarter and went on to win 55-45.
Campbelltown lost to Eastwood-Ryde in the major semi-final last week 51-42 and will be hoping to turn that result around in the grand final.
Campbelltown supporters are once again urged to come along on Saturday afternoon to raise the roof and to show the strength of our support for the team by wearing Red and Black. The game is being played at the Anne Clark Centre at Lidcombe at 3:00pm on Saturday 11 September.
Campbelltown selects 11 year development squads for night comp

Campbelltown Netball Association held its selections for the night comp squad for the 2011 11 Years Development squads on Saturday 4 September.
Congratulations to all players who attended the trials. Click here for the list of players selected.
A reminder that the first training night is on the 21 September 2010 from 6pm to 7:30pm. Players are to wear Black t-shirts and Black shorts and should also bring a drink, hand towel, jumper and bag.
A $50 deposit is required on the night to hold your place in the squad.
Division 3 State League to play in final

Following its loss to Minor Premiers Eastwood-Ryde on Monday 30 August, Campbelltown's top State League team will play in the final against Fairfield on Tuesday 7 September at 8:30pm.
In the Division 3 major semi-final Campbelltown was defeated by Eastwood-Ryde 51-42. Both teams were cheered on by a good contingent of supporters. Although they kept pace with Eastwood-Ryde in the early stages, Campbelltown was unable to fully capitalise on its turnovers.
In the other semi-final, 4th placed Fairfield defeated Illawarra 52-45.

The winner of this match will go through to the Grand Final against Eastwood-Ryde to be played at 3:00pm on Saturday 11 September.
